One binding for the lift and the skin track. The toe flips into walk mode for the way up, then locks in like a normal alpine binding for the way down, so it holds and releases exactly like the bindings you already trust. Takes any boot sole. This is what we mount when we want one pair of skis for everything.

Skis like an alpine binding
We ran the Marker Duke for years, on team trips and in the shop. When we retired it we wanted the same idea done lighter: one binding that tours properly and skis like an alpine binding on the way down. The SHIFT2 is that binding, and it's what we reach for when the plan is one pair of skis for the whole trip.

PRODUCTION
Built in Amer Sports' own factory in Oradea, Romania, not outsourced. The factory is TUV certified for quality and safety.
PACKAGING
Smaller boxes and less cardboard. Every binding ships in about a third less packaging than before, cutting the packaging's environmental footprint by just over a fifth.
TRANSPORT / DISTANCES
The packaging is made close to the factory, so it travels less before the binding does.
Product Care
If you're keen on maximizing the lifespan of your product:
Clean them regularly to prevent dirt and grime from building up
Lubricate moving parts regularly with grease.
Store your bindings in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
Check for signs of wear, damage, or corrosion and replace worn-out parts promptly.
Avoid over-tightening the screws or straps, as this can cause damage to the binding's internal components or the surrounding material.
Replace the springs after 5-7 years or when they start to show signs of wear, as worn-out springs can compromise the binding's performance and safety.
