Why Repair Patches?

It started with a small tear on a mid-layer puffy, that rip could have been the end of it. It became a beginning instead. In the mountains, the city, and everywhere in between, clothes get worn. That’s a sign of a well-lived life, not a reason to throw them away. Repair patches like the 1UPs turn small imperfections into stories worth keeping. The 1UPs come with three small patches and two larger ones, in both black and grey. The grey ones are made from the same fabric as our Haglöfs collab gear, so they blend right in. Cut them to any shape you want, fix a tear in seconds, and keep moving.

We believe ski culture should move forward, not just in performance, but in responsibility. The 1UPs are a mindset shift. We want to make repairs normal, visible, and cool. Why FabPatch?

When we met the FabPatch crew, we knew they were our kind of people. Based in Finland, FabPatch has perfected the art of fast and sustainable repairs. Repair is one of the simplest, most powerful acts of sustainability. Every patched jacket, pair of pants, or backpack extends the life of something that already exists, reducing waste, emissions, and the need for new production. FabPatch’s design philosophy is rooted in circularity: repair, reuse, stop waste.

Each patch helps cut lifecycle emissions by up to 44% compared to replacing an item, and collectively, FabPatch has already saved 20–30 tonnes of textiles from the landfill. The patches themselves are made with 76.9% recycled polyester, certified under the Global Recycle Standard, and produced with traceable materials and ethical manufacturing in Finland. The longest-lasting clothes are the most sustainable ones.

How do you use them?

Using the 1UPs couldn’t be easier.

• Clean the area around the tear, make sure it’s dry
• Peel the backing off the patch
• Stick it over the damaged spot
• Rub it in place for a secure bond, no sewing, no heat, no tools

That’s it. You’re back in business. The patch stays put, even after heavy use, washing, and weather. Whether you’re fixing a jacket on the lift or patching your pants before another tour, the 1UPs make repairs fast, clean, and satisfying. A quick fix with lasting impact.
